Wednesday nights at WB are NOT quiet!!  After the family meal, all children can join in the fun and excitement of Awana. The name Awana stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.  Awana is a ministry that is committed to reaching kids with the gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him.  Each Wednesday evening at 6:15 we gather together in the gym for our opening ceremony and then head to Awana clubs based on age and grade in school.  WB Awana Clubs consist of Cubbies (preschoolers 3 years old by Sept. 1st and potty trained), Sparks (kindergarten through 2nd grade) and Truth and Training aka T & T (grades 3-5).  Our club meetings are divided three ways starting with Bible memorization (handbook time), play games (game time) and Bible teaching (council time).  Awana meets September through May on Wednesday evenings 6:15-7:45. Check in at the KidsLife Welcome Center begins at 6:00pm.  It truly is one of the highlights of Children’s Ministry as children learn to hide God’s Word in their hearts.
